Audible codes for Games of Rome: an update

We’ve uploaded the audio files for Games of Rome to the ACX system, which appears to be overwhelmed at the moment.  As we wait for ACX/Audible to unfuck themselves, I thought an update on our revised Audible code distribution might be helpful.

Although many of you are likely aware of this, ACX/Audible completely changed their code system earlier this year. Because we now get far fewer codes to hand out and we are no longer paid for the audiobooks redeemed with those codes, I’m afraid we can’t afford to give them away with abandon. 🙁 So we have a new system.
All Audible codes (US & UK) for Games of Rome (Book 2) will now be designated as review codes – that is, honest reviews on Audible or Amazon are expected if you redeem a code for a free copy. Most of the GoR codes will be distributed through a lottery pool, and listeners who have left a review for Dominus (Book 1) will have first priority to enter the lottery pool.
If you’d like to enter the lottery pool for a review code for a free copy of the GoR audiobook, please email me a link to your review of the audio of Dominus on Audible or Amazon along with US or UK – once I hear from you, I’ll happily put you on the list for a GoR code: jp_kenwood@yahoo.com. You must contact me with the above information to enter the lottery. If you haven’t left your review for the Dominus audiobook yet, there’s still some time to do so.
FYI – a few codes will be saved for review blogs and giveaways.
If you enjoy audiobooks, you’re going to LOVE the 14+ incredible hours of GoR.
Happy Manic Monday!
JP xoxo
